The initiative takes on not only an architectural dimension but also an essentially urbanistic condition, given that the pre-existing planning does not determine the dimensions and basic parameters of the building. Next to the space to be occupied by the building, there is a splendid ceramic brick church and a series of large trees, elements with which the new architecture will have to play in order to determine the new building. The different scales, the different dimensional conditions, and the different volumetries are the conditions that must be taken into account to articulate the new building and contextualize it in such a characteristic area of the Dutch city. The ceramic brick masonry, the colors, the large eggs and the different textures are the data that enhance the facades of the new building, with the absolute purpose of establishing an appropriate relationship with the pre-existing architecture of the city.
